Artistic photo of THE DOORWAY TO HEAVEN.family picture in one of the many many ancient stone-made temples in siem reap. it's amazing if you think about how they actually build the many temples out of huge rocks. it was transported up and the face sculptures and carvings were done after that.
my dad and i. at the war musuem about the civil war of the Khmer Rouge. since it was a war musuem, i guess we were supposed to be solemn right, haha but there were guns there on display, the musuem (open-air) had NO visitors other than us that day and no guards or curators or whoever were around. so we picked up the guns and stimulated war scenes. Above is a pic where i was desperately trying to look fierce and ambushing my dad, but of course i never succeed la.
TADA. Sunrise at Tonle Sap. =) PRETTY! the sun's like egg yolk, and it's the first proper sunrise have ever witness. it's a long riverrrr...and we saw floating villages along the way. and a floating school. the guide said that the school wasn't anchored and it would float about everyday. so the kids have to locate their school everyday, esp during flood seasons. floating of the sch becomes even more obvious. =p so cute. if only school can float away out to sea, then i won't find it on the 3rd jan. woohoo. don't need to go. =p

my trip to cambodia was the most enjoyable so far...haha out of all the free and easy trips my family went on. food good! accomodation good! places were fun =) and this time, my sis and my dad decided to bring a grand total of 3 cameras. 1 vidcam, 2 cameras. so we have MANY photos and videos. and i caught a lion dance performance at their cultural village! not much difference from singapore style, but their da tou wa wa's were on stilts. andddd. about the famous Angkor Wat...just walking around it won't really allow u to see its wonders. must see the map layout, it's a square within a bigger square and then the biggest square. and in the middle of the biggest square, DEEP DOWN (the depth is equal to the height of the highest point of the temple) is the king's tomb.

haha okay.. enough of cambodia..........it's approx 1.5 hours away from 2007! j2 next year. the BIG As. surprisingly, my december holidays were spent very similar to my sec 1-3 holidays in ny. =0 and seeing you guys more frequently than i thought i would =p FANTASTIC...just the way i like it. and thanks for my birthday presents =D i love them. and you all.
