This is a totally non-auspisious colour, but what the hell! hahaha. =)

I'm supposed to watch MoaG with another friend but oh wells! It doesn't matter, I can watch it twice (albeit hearing it's a crappy movie) hahah!. Sqdms more impt =)

Been gambling a lot with my cousins. Had a total of 4 blackjacks. =) Won ard $15! hahahaha! :D My cousins won about $40! But for me hahahaha, I bet very small! I think I'm the smallest better. My largest bet ever was.. $1.20. ahahaha >.< Smallest was like 20c! My cousins were betting like $3 $2.

I only can attend caiqing on the 4th! I have an ODAC competition on the 5th! hahaha. WISH ME LUCK!

But shucks. I haven't been training for it! arghhh. Been eating too much chocolates, sweets, bakwa and I haven't been running. DIE. Tmr morning I shall go run ard my estate! I have to. Cannot laokui too much during the competition!

heyy.

my colour is the 2nd most auspicious so haha i'm blogging!

let's watch MoaG together la k. it might be a leetle more expensive on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays but if we all wanna watch as a sqd, well that's the price we gotta pay. Or, if we aren't willing to pay that extra dollar or two, let's watch on a weekday then. Night movie and reach home at, say, 10pm. Either way you'll have to give up on something. Money or time? You know. Opportunity cost! Choices! Limited resources for unlimited human wants. Hahaha. x) Economics. Gee.

let's watch together la. i miss all of you. take it as a chance to get together!

anyway haha for caiqing let's go on one of the days only la. probably saturday? when alot more sqdms can make it rather than on sunday when some sqdms gtg church and i have to go work and next day's school somemore. i dunnoo. maybe we ask 37 or sth la. what say everyone else? hahaha.

anyway! are we watching MoAG together ah? tickets are expensive on weekends and public holidays but it's really difficult to meet up during weekdays =( howww.

heyyy

had a great day with sqms today =D i really miss the old times where it really wasn't a problem to meet up with sqms at all. they were everywhere. always within distance... sigh now it seems it's not as easy as it seems to step out of my comfort zone and adapt in JC. =( i guess we're still pretty lucky so far because we really met up pretty often. up till now. i really just hope there won't come a day where i'll be finding myself speechless and awkward with any sqm. heh. last time it was so easy to just find a spot in the canteen and crap with sqms like there's no tomorrow...in sec 1 to 3. then during nco life, laugh eat play in the np room and drag our butts to go discuss about stuff =p

haha we have a new addition to the giraffefy faRMily. yeahh! welcome squaddy! hahaha yeahhhh. today we went fish and co and as usual our sqd is pretty broke. hahaha! especially amusing when we settled our bills... =) think we stayed there for 3 hours? hahaha. when weiwen and i walked to the control station to meet sqms i was looking around for them and i almost couldn't recognise the tiny group of chio-bus standing there. lol hahaha. some big stuff happened today =) hmmm. hope huiqi had a great day today =) she was wearing a skirt ahhha =)

hey sqms!!!!

sigh. i lost my watch and pencilcase in school last week. =( both got sentimental value!!! the pencilcase happens to be our squad pencilcase. haha i remember one NP test we took just after we got the squad pencilcase...was it crime prevention? NWZ? then we purposely bring our pencilcase and put at the front of all our tables lol. =) then the watch...heh the older one which was the sister of siewfun's watch spoilt during campcraft training...so i bought this one! so it's also known as son of siewfun's watch's sister. okay wah lame! =( anyway wish me luck...i'm going to look for them first thing i reach school...

anyway...all sqms' orientation ended already =( sigh i didn't get to crash any other jcs. friday was great...danced like mad cheered like mad ran like mad sang like mad =) wasn't really a campfire anyway...haha it was the first campfire i attended without surrounding the fire. hahaha the fire was at the back and people were just crazy and mad without even looking at the fire...except for the opening ceremony la =) the orientation I/C Jamie, ran through the crowd with a fire torch and lighted up the words on the wire mesh "Let's Jam" (Orientation 06 theme) =) the entire thing was pretty cool...

ah TAY'S birthday is tomorrow!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUIQI!!!! i love you!!!! strive to grow taller and slimer!!! =) hahaha i think you'll like what we got for you... anyway i don't quite get huiqi's entry before jac's also la. heh but i think i understand a little. nvm...next time we meet up..which is VERY SOON! we discuss again =) memoirs of a geisha!

anyway... my class around 26 ppl... our dance party was yesterday... it was fun, but at around 9 liddat we went to the bbq benches to tell ghost stories... haha...

i joined touch rugby... i think training starts on mon... and it is hiong... argh...

anyway... had fun today... though it was only for a short while and i spent like the entire morning travelling on the mrt... WL's friend is funny... haha...

og outing tomorrow again... hope its fun...

went SA today after sch w my friends..saw my s h i tou n cheryl running on e track..hahaa :p tok to em after they completed their rounds. e whole campus is big..

ran 2.4 for our 1st pe yesterday..not tt bad la..did crunches n jumping jacks too..

os results faster come out..still haf to wait for 1 more mth...

yesterday, my clsmate asked me 'u frm ny ah'..told e odac cca leader im frm np n he saw my shirt n asked me 'u frm nanyang np ah'..go toilet, 1 girl told another one 'eh she frm ny one leh'..go j8 coffee bean, 1 sa girl suddenly say so loud 'eh tt girl frm ny'..i dunnoe who they were so i jus smiled a them. dis morning at e bus stop, 1 auntie said 'ni nayang de ah' hehhhh..~ jus kbl~mus say some comments were meant to be gd..at least i haf a nice og :p

my mum wants to bring me to shanghai for 1 wk during e start of march hahaa..but rather off timing lor cos tt's during sch days..anw still nt confirmed

hey sqms!

haha i share some weiwen's jokes with you guys if you all haven't already heard it from her. =D

There were two blondes going to California for the summer, they are about two hours into the flight and the pilot gets on the intercom and says "we just lost an engine but it is all right we have three more but it will take us an hour longer." A half hour later he gets on the intercom again and says "we just lost another engine but its all right we have two more it will take us another half hour though." One of the blondes says "If we lose the two last engines we will be up here all day."

A blonde, brunette and redhead woman decided to compete in the Breast Stroke division of the English Channel swim competition. The brunette came in first, the redhead second. The blonde finally reached the shore completely exhausted. After being revived with blankets and a drink she remarked, "I don't want to complain, but I'm pretty sure those other two girls used their arms."

A brunette is trying to get across a river and suddenly she spots a blonde on the other side. She yells over to the blonde "Hey, excuse me! How do I get over to the other side?" And after a quick survey of the river, the blonde calls back "You ARE on the other side!"

one week of school is finally over... i am super tired

i still dunno whether to leave nj or not if i do well for o's.. haiz.. kind of grew attached to nj already.. i think i am going to join touch rugby... xy and ang must join hc one then i can see u all during comps.. hmm... just came back from og outing and it was much more fun-ner than i expected...

in slightly more than one month, o's results will be out... i am terrified of tt day... haiz... hope we all do well...

well, classes will be out on mon... hope i get into a nice class.. i took H2 math, chem and physics. and H1 econs and hist... but i think i will drop hist after 3 months... one full week of orientation next.. hope it will be fun...

why none of you all online now?!

i was wondering how sqms alone in some JCs are coping with their first days today...man i miss u all too!!! even though i had xinyi, weiwen, liulu, liming with me.

anyway...it feels weird. to be singing hwachong cheers and songs. today we had academic talks in the morning and then broke into OGs in the afternoon to have icebreakers and song and cheer and dance sessions. actually, the school spirit at hwachong is pretty impressive...but i guess that's the way it is at the start. hahah somemore such a big population is already kind of "well-orientated" with the cheers and chinese sch song. anyway HC has mass dances that every batch will learn...so it's kinda cool that the entire school will get to know how to dance the same thing. and there's this chinese production called huang cheng for J1s where evryone can participate. whether in backstage or cast. haha yeah. orientation's gonna last 2 weeks and we're having a campfire on the last day. anyway we ended ard 5 today and we hopped over to NY!!!

hahah i was feeling excited on the bridge can. -.- haha some sqms are taking forever to reply msgs. must be use up free smses liao. anyway!!! i think we (hc sqms) might be able to go back on the 5th =D ending early i think. =p

im in og16 n 1 of my ogl is called soon kuey, tt chinese cake thing. they even taught us the illegal things we can do like downloading warcraft 3 in e library..our orientation package is nice! its a sling bag which looks like my converse sling bag. it contains 2 t-shirts, nyj badge red poncho n a red silicon band..o im in e phoenix house

Heyo!

Ok i'm back from school hahaha. Today at SA kinda boring, cos you know, all the usual rules, subject comb, teacher introduction, OG icebreakers, cheers and college song kinda crap. But overall it's ok, and i've got a really great OG and really great OGLs, so i'm thankful for that.

Got 2 cedar people in my group! One is celest's church friend hahahah. The other kinda hiao, but she's ok i guess. Many many IJ people, and they speak really good english whereas i keep using "sekali", "kena".. You know. Hahaha. Feels really weird making small talk to people i don't know very well. So used to have sqdms during recess and classmates around. It's like everytime go back to NY, "hello!" here and there but now there's hardly anyone to hello to.

I'm in OG 4! Haha OGLs are Caiyu and Andy, really funky people. And our =O Civics Tutor is this Ms K person who is seriously the fiercest person i've ever seen. So scary. All the J2s scared of her, and Caiyu was trembling. She came in and said:

"I'M NOT IN A GOOD MOOD NOW. I WAS IN A FINE MOOD UNTIL YOUR SENIORS OUTSIDE blah blah blah. And i don't like to repeat myself so you better listen carefully! Blah Blah Blah." She scolded 4 people on her way to our class. x.X

And when the girl beside me was grinning Ms K barked, "Do you this this is very amusing? I don't think so. You better wipe that silly grin off your face." When a guy called her "ma'am" she snapped, "DON'T CALL ME MA'AM. I AM NOT THAT OLD. I MAY HAVE SOME GREY HAIR AND LOOK OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR GRANDMOTHER BUT DON'T CALL ME MA'AM." Something along that line. Horrors.

OMG she is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 x infinity worse than Mrs Sh__lene T_eh ok. Freaking scary!!!!!!!!!

After she left the class the OGLs and some of the guys started imitating her. Gee.

I have completely no idea of what CCA to join. I heard that the people in Canoeing kayak in the canal next to the school. Dunno whether Andy bluffing me not. He damn shuang la got his own condo!! He's m'sian and his parents bought him a condo for him to live in HIMSELF. No parents or guardians! Shuang right. =O

I MISS ALL OF YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!! MUST MEET UP SOME DAY OK. AFTER ORIENTATION OR STH. OR ON AN EARLY DAY. (:

I'm stuck in Arts stream but i think i'll stay in Arts for PAE, just try out the subjects for fun. Like, try out Lit and Hist cos i might not take in JAE, you know. (: Lit in SA is damn fun! We're doing PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and some Alex-sth and Cleopatra Shakespeare text. And George Orwell's 1984, and Brave New World and possibly even Margaret Atwood!!! =D

I think i'll be taking Math Lit Econs H2, Chem H1. If not History H1.

I REALLY MISS SQDMS!!! :'(

I think after today this blog will be very much alive cos everyone wants to know how the others have been and update others as well.

I've never blogged so much in sqd blog before, see my point? Hahaha.

Miss you all loads, and i want to wear the SA uniform at least once!!!! Maybe i'll decide to stay in SA in the end. Or maybe i can't even stay in SA. :( Bleah.

I hate making choices like for subject combs and schools and all those shit.

Can you imagine we just finished O Levels 1 month and a half ago and in less than 2 years we're taking A's which will determine if we go uni!!

The thought of it makes me go faint. But after that LONG HOLIDAY!!!!!! (: Can go work in Romankan. Anyone want to join me? XY? Cheryl? SF? Hahahaha.

Well JC life is certainly an eye-opener. Though i don't like making small talk even though i have to cos that's how you start a friendship anyway. My face feels stiff from smiling so much, and this morning when i was at the interchange i felt a pang of nostalgia watching all the NY girls take 961. I'm not taking 961!!!!! Damn. I'm taking 966, which is the berth next to it, which makes is so much worse.

Like, so near yet so far.

I MISS NANYANGGGGGGG. I LOVE NANYANGGGGGGGGG. If i can go back there i think i will cheer my heart out at the cheering sessions (i bet steff and zj very happy to see this.). Sometimes you don't know how to treasure what you have till you lose it, like me.

SA has a brand new spanking campus, though half of the school isn't wired up yet and the Western food auntie cannot use the frying thing cos no electricity.

1st DAY OF SCHOOL.

Hey sqdms! How was the 1st day of school? Not too bad I hope.

HCI sdqms aren't done with school yet I know (none of them replied my msg!) SAJC ended already. SA sqdms are on their way home. NY sqdm finishes only at 6smth! hahaha. Huiqi msged me during a talk I think. NJ sqdms are doing some cheer thingy now. They end ard 6plus too.

Tmr's CJC CCA bazaar. Hahha. Don't really know what CCA i'll join yet. =P

My orientation group (in CJC it's called IG i don't know why) had only 1 guy i knew. He was my church friend from SJI. then cos we know each other we talk more and sit together. then his SJI friend asked him 'eh why you keep falling her ah'. -.-''

anywayyyy i really hope you guys enjoyed yourselves at sch today! :D bet HCI sqdms would feel quite comfortable besides the guys factor right. I mean you guys can see your classmate and all. hahaha and you can see each otherrrr! so lucky!

oh yes today we played some ice breaker game. Same as the NCOTC the leongwoon sir asked us to play the name game in the LT. But this time we had to add an adjective in front of our name to describe. Have to have alliteration so I said 'small steff'. Then some guy whose name is Helmi said 'horny helmi'. So we got through round 1 pretty well.

AND THEN ROUND TWO WE HAD TO COME UP WITH ACTIONS FOR OUR ADJECTIVES. so you can imgaine what 'horny helmi' did. yes. Thrusting of his pelvin. o.O and we each had to do it. so WEIRD. oh wells.

another game was this new game that i can demo to you guys next time. We sit in a circle and place our hands in the same positions as the 5c-coin-lost-game. Then the game master would tell a stupid story and one of the words would be taboo. if the taboo word appears, we have to grab somone's hand and rmb to release our other hand. then anyway i kena 5 times together with another girl and thus we both had to do forfeits.

GUESS WHAT. We had to propose to our group facilitator till he laughed. His name is called Edmund. Stupid lah. So we ended up saying together on one bended knee 'do you want to marry me, her or us?' and he laughed. so he had to go propose to another girl. ahahha.

Mark, Cheryl and Edmund were my grp's faciliators. Hahah. They are quite nice lah. :D I'm in IG 19.

ahhhh i miss all of you. i feel like having another sqd gathering soon. hahahaha

btw CJC food isn't great. I miss Ny's chicken rice, local delight, etc. I ate nuggets and fries and they were all SOFT. LAU HONG!
