in the end i didn't go choral nite, so sad! =( was still at Cine at 7pm. hehe...went yumin's house to watch Bewitched. =) kept seeing weiwen and her clsmates around...(i was with my classmates)...she went to NYDC. then she went to watch zorro. i was playing pool...
woah. hwachong's library opens till 10pm. can study until 10pm there, so cool...
i have a lot of things i want to do! cycling! badminton! basketball! presents, letters, plans...lessons...hmm. yeahhh...sqms...let's go relive our Sec 2 National Day basketball marathon someday. hehhhhh.

Yesterday I had a fantas-bulous dinner! :D (combination of the word 'fantastic' and 'fabulous')
Hmmm, yesterday I went to attend Novena at Novena Church. (ahaha sounds lame). Basically it's like a church service but it's only 1/2 hour and during that 1/2 hour it's a lot of prayers instead of the priest talking. And the service is to honour Mother Mary.
My mum said that 1/3 of the people who attends Novena are NON CATHOLICS! I was so shocked.. Cos a lot of Christians are uncomfortable with the fact that catholics 'pray to' Mary.. (haha, we actually 'honour' her) Hahaha.
The power of Novena. Heh.
The place is just really crowded on Saturdays. Novenas are held every hour. So I think it starts at 9 all the way to 5. So altogether 9 services in one day. haha.
Anyway, that church is super crowded and filled. To attend the 5pm service, I have to leave my house at 4.20pm. Though it takes only 15mins for me to get to the place (it's near Jac's hse). The place is always filled with cars till there's no space for parking. It so jam-packed and traffic is so bad till there's traffic policemen stationed there to help with traffic flow.
Hahha. After the service, we got stuck at the carpark for at least 10mins. My dad was pissed at this guy who was inconsiderate. All the men in my family, when they get pissed at other drivers, it's pretty scary. Esp my grandad. All the funny words that I never knew he knew comes out. >.< HAHHA.
Oh yeah. I rmb this year I did flag day with my class and we stood outside the church area.. hahaha. We collected so many donations. And pretty quickly too! ahahha. =P
Okie to the MAIN POINT.
After Novena I went to KAP's Cold Storage... and guess who I saw?

I SAW WEIWEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
with her dad. Both dad and daughter was wearing red tee-shirts..
So I put down the window and screamed 'WEIWEN~!'
Hahhaha. =X
At Cold Storage my mum bought all the stuff for dinner. She was SO shocked to find out that one packet of mushrooms, (there were i think 8 mushrooms inside) cost $9.90!! She was contemplating if she should buy it. Hahha. SO EXP. Then finally my mum felt that since we hardly ever eat that, just buy once should be okie. Hahah
Then we bought sausages, vegetables for salad, chocolates (not for dinner, for me AND sqdms who would definitely eat when they come over after Os. :P)
When we got home I helped cooked dinner! :D I fried the sausages.. Boiled the brocoli (spelt that way?), made the soup, fried the vegetables, tossed the salad! hahaha. My mum said I had to eat everything I cooked. I was like NO WAY. So many vegetable dishes and she expected me to eat every vege dish. -.-
Yay. Next time can cook for sdqms. =)

lalala
i saw this 80th anniversary book..showing the entire progress of NY and all the history...
haha i think i got it in p6 that time...NY open house? =) there were quite alot of pictures inside...and there were NP's one! there were some dalt pictures too! inside wrote that NY dalt went to Australia for some cultural exchange thing... =)
so sad...i think overseas trips for the unit will be quite impossible now. yeahh. parents' consent...bird flu...whatever disease...and so many restrictions..yeah. =( anyway! yesterday was the last last last day of school for sec 4 IP track. hmm. initially wanted to find a way to record the assembly bell and all the period bell down..well, for fun...hahaha yeah. but in the end didn't manage to do it la. so sad hor steff?

i'm sorry if i'm going to be so hopelessly sentimental again. haha...but today 411 sqms and their last day happenings really struck me quite deep..well yeah.

i know some sqms are losing it soon. if i was faced by such harsh reality of not getting good O results, i would probably freak and break down. i can't say i know what you guys are going through because i'm not going through it...but well, when you need someone to talk to, sqms will always be there... =)
okay i better keep this short. if not it will just become random rambling... =X
i really really miss those days we had. MAD and crazy days. recently, most of us are just getting too tired to go mad and crazy around each other. sometimes i even admit that we have drifted apart, not much common topics to talk about...because of studies and all that.
and so 18th NOVEMBER better come soon.

Hey squadmates!
I'm here to liven up squad blog again. =)
Wow...I actually didn't touch the computer for about 3 to 4 days. This time is because the computer was on and my sister wasn't using it, so I couldn't resist the temptation to sit down! Heh. But tomorrow got Bio paper, so I don't have to go to school. Yayyy! jiayou to weiwen xinyi liulu liming! =)
I've been thinking...actually exams period is not that bad. It actually forces you to sit down and study for once. And through this period, I realised many things that I am actually capable of. (Like not touching the computer for 3 to 4 days) And studying is not THAT unbearable if you understand the things you are studying...hahaa...yeah. Somehow there will be a sense of achievement lor.
But I want this whole period to be over! EOYs...O Levels...I realised when xinyi weiwen me liulu and liming are in school for exams, we will leave school early and sqms are having lessons. before this, it was mid years, followed by prelims. so sqms will leave school early and we will be having lessons. after this week, huiqi, steff cheryl siewfun weili jaclyn don't need to come to school for lessons, yeah...so we won't be meeting either! =( haha so sad lor...but after o levels it'll be different! =) SQUAD CHALET! yes yes....and yes...FAREWELL too!
I had another dream about sqms last last night...and some other people were inside la. i know cindy was inside. haha so funny...we were doing some FAREWELLISH-DECO THE PLACE thing as a squad. hahaa i actually miss those days we hang around the school barefooted in PE shirt and shorts...with paint and rubbish all over the place. hehe... and guess what?
STEFF WAS IN CHARGE OF SOME EYE RELAXATION EXERCISE CRAP. as in she was the I/C? haha I also don't know what's the reason behind having an I/C for this kind of things.
anyway, she said this "sqms, let's do our last eye relaxation exercise." o.O and we really did. so lame la! if i'm not wrong, she led the exercise. and i can't remember exactly how the exercise was done so hmmmm. i wonder what we did.
weiwen has developed a whole new set of "guide to cute pouting" so she knows to to pout, with different mouth-shapes. and for different purposes. if you would like to know more about it, please contact Professor Pout at 1800-000000. today, we were on the bus and when we reached her stop, she stood up before the bus stopped. we were sitting on one of the seats with were opposite direction ones....(if you know what i mean). so when she stood up, the bus stopped, and she fell back into the seat again! so funny! and her expression was priceless laaaaa
